On the Menu:
Grilled Seasoned Baby Lamb Chops
Roasted Sweet and Regular Potatoes
Classic Israeli Salad
Brazilian Cheese Bread
Dessert- Fresh Strawberries in light syrup
Talk about an easy yet elegant dinner.
I'll start with the roasted potatoes:
Sweet Potatoes- cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces
Regular Potatoes- cut the same size
Red Onions- Cut into wedges
*We added some pre roasted garlic to the mix to give it more flavor. It's not necessary.
Season with- Olive oil, italian herbs, granulated garlic, chicken stock powder, and paprika.
Roast in a 350ยบ oven for about 45-60 minutes (until tender).
While the potatoes are roasting you can start the rest of your meal.
For the Classic Israeli Salad:
Dice small- Tomatoes, Cucumber, Bell Pepper, Red Onion and Parsley
Season with- Olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Let sit at room temperature so the vegetables can absorb the flavor and macerate in the olive oil and lemon juice.
Next you will want to make the Brazilian Cheese Bread. To make the batter it takes about 10 minutes and to cook another 20. I've made this recipe before, refer to it here and the recipe here!

Towards the end of your potato cooking time start the Lamb Chops!
These baby lamb chops are from First Class Foods a meat company that my mom's husband Felix owns. All the meat he produces is incredible. I love how it comes sealed air-tight in plastic. These chops were impeccably trimmed. Hardly any fat on them! Just make friends with the butcher and see what they can do for you. ;)
First spray/ lightly coat them with olive oil.
Then season with a little montreal seasoning.
On a medium high grill pan grill them to desired doneness. I suggest medium rare to prevent over cooked dry lamb chops!
A dinner in under 1 hour that has all the best flavor and a gourmet touch anyone is sure to love.
Don't think I forgot dessert. I don't have the biggest sweet tooth and after a meal like that one, fresh strawberries sounds amazing.
ENJOY!!!
